Career
Tushar Kalia began his dancing career under Shri Santosh Nair, the artistic director of the ‘Sadhya Unit of Performing Arts.’
However, he has received Ariel technique training from Canadian choreographer Brandy Leary. Tushar worked with a firm that organized performances all over the world before becoming a Bollywood choreographer. Tushar rose to prominence as a choreographer on Season 6 of Jhalak Dhikla Ja with actress Ekta Kaul, but was evicted in the first few weeks of the reality program. In the following season, he returned as a wildcard entry alongside actress Sana Saeed.
Tushar made his start in Bollywood after appearing on Jhalak Dhikla Ja and working as a choreographer for Karan Johar’s song “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.” Vaani Music Videos for Yrf (Yaarmananani), Half Girlfriend, Qareeb Qareeb Single, Ok Jaanu, Hate Story IV, and Dhadak are among the films he has choreographed (2018).
