Tinsley Randolph Mortimer (born August 11, 1975) is a television personality and socialite from the United States. She is most recognised for her roles in the reality TV show High Society and The Real Housewives of New York City.

Tinsley Mortimer is an actress, blogger, fashion designer, socialite, and TV personality from the United States. She began her acting career in the late 2000s and has since been in a number of films and television programmes. Early Life

Tinsley Randolph Mercer, Mortimer’s father, was born in Richmond, Virginia. Her father was a rich real-estate magnate named George Riley Mercer Jr., and her mother was an interior designer and socialite named Dale Tatum Mercer. Dabney Winston Mercer is her younger sister. George Riley Mercer Sr., her paternal grandpa, launched Mercer Rug Cleansing in 1936. Mortimer is descended from several Virginia First Families. She grew up in Graymont, her family’s Richmond home.

Mortimer was a member of the Kirby House at the Lawrenceville School, a boarding school in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, where she attended St. Catherine’s School, a private all-girls Episcopal school in Richmond.

Mortimer was a debutante, having been introduced to Richmond society at the Country Club of Virginia’s Bal du Bois. At Lawrenceville School, Mortimer met Robert Livingston “Topper” Mortimer (son of John Jay Mortimer) and they married when they were both 18 years old. Their parents, on the other hand, compelled them to call off the wedding. They wedded in Richmond, Virginia on May 4, 2002. In 2010, the Mortimers divorced. In 2018, her ex-husband married Tabitha Simmons, a British fashion designer.  Mortimer appeared on the Dr Phil programme with her mother Dale on July 23, 2010, to address her divorce and her problems with her mother.

On March 26, 2015, her father passed away in Providence, Rhode Island. Mortimer was introduced to Coupon Cabin CEO Scott Kluth by her Real Housewives of New York City castmate Carole Radziwill on February 11, 2017. The couple subsequently embarked on an on-again, off-again long-distance romance between New York and Chicago, which ended in October 2018. Mortimer began her career as a Vogue beauty assistant and an event coordinator for Harrison & Shriftman.
