Danish professional footballer Thomas Joseph Delaney (born 3 September 1991) plays defensive midfield for La Liga club Sevilla and the Denmark national team. Delaney started his professional career in Copenhagen, where he made 249 games overall, netted 24 goals, and five times won the Danish Superliga and four times won the Danish Cup.
Before moving to Sevilla in 2021, he played for Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund in Germany, totaling 107 Bundesliga matches. Delaney made his debut for Denmark abroad in 2013. He participated in their teams at the UEFA Euro 2020 and the FIFA World Cup 2018, helping the latter team advance to the semifinals.

Copenhagen
- Delaney began playing youth football with the Danish club F.C. Copenhagen’s reserve squad, Kjbenhavns Boldklub.
