Club Career
Tissoudali participated in youth sports with the DWS, Young Boys, Argon squad. Tissoudali was assigned to Sparta Nijkerk after his formation. He committed to staying there by signing a contract in 2014. In the contract, there was a provision that allowed for his move to a club during professional tournaments.
In this manner, he was moved to Telstar in the same year and agreed to a three-year deal there. On August 11, 2014, Tissoudali participated in his debut game with this squad. Nevertheless, he was defeated by Jong Ajax 3-0. He played the entire game and began with the starting lineup. He performed for Telstar for two seasons. He scored 19 goals in 36 games during his second season.
Tissoudali agreed to a deal with Le Havre in July 2016 that would last until the middle of 2020. Le Havre was a Ligue 2 team at the time. However, the American coach who recruited him, Bob Bradley, was shortly fired, which created a communication issue because Tissoudali didn’t speak French.
He didn’t appear for the first team throughout the first half of the 2016–17 campaign, and after the winter break, he was sent to SC Cambuur on loan for six months. He was once more loaned out the following year, this time to VV-Venlo of the new Ere Divisie. He wasn’t able to make the first team over there. He was given a loan to the First Division side De Graafschap at the conclusion of 2018.
Tissoudali’s contract was terminated at Le Havre after half a year in Doetinchem, and then he was hired by Beerschot. He was a left winger in his first season, but Hernán Losada converted him to a shadow striker in his second.
Tissoudali had extremely respectable numbers at the end of January 2021: in nineteen competitive games, he scored eight times and provided six assists, which was more than in his whole first season. Tissoudali, whose contract was almost up, attracted attention from a number of teams during the winter transfer window of the 2020–21 season, including DC United (where Hernán Losada had taken over as coach) and Fiorentina.
However, the Dutch striker decided on KAA Gent, where he signed a deal that would keep him with the team for two and a half years. He scored two goals in his first game for Gent against KAS Eupen and one in the Belgian Cup match against FC Heur-Tongeren.
International Career
In May 2016, Tissoudali received his first call-up to the Moroccan U23 squad. On June 5, 2016, he made his debut and defeated Cameroon-23, winning 1-0. He was the only one who scored. He was added to the Moroccan national football team’s squad for the postponed 2021 African Championship in December 2021 by head coach Vahid Halilhodi.
Abde Ezzalzouli, who had left the roster, was replaced by him. Tissoudali made his tournament debut on January 10, 2022, against Ghana in Morocco’s opening group game. Twelve minutes before the conclusion, he was permitted to replace Imran Louza.
Sofiane Boufal scored the game’s only goal as Morocco prevailed 1-0. On March 25, 2022, against Congo-Kinshasa, in his fifth international game, Tissoudali scored the first goal. The first of two matches in the playoffs for the 2022 World Cup was played today.
Yoane Wissa’s strike gave Congo-Kinshasa the advantage, and Tissoudali, who had replaced Youssef En-Nesyri, scored fifteen minutes before the game’s conclusion on an assist from Ayoub El Kaabi. The score was even at 1-1. Return was in Morocco four days later. After Azzedine Ounahi’s first goal put the game on the board, Tissoudali, who was eligible to start, increased the advantage.
Moroccans triumphed 4-1, qualifying for the World Cup, with goals from Achraf Hakimi, Ounahi, and Ben Malango. In a 1-0 friendly victory over the Cameroon U23s, Tissoudali made his debut for the Morocco U23s. He also scored the game-winning goal. He was selected to play for Morocco’s senior national team in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. On January 10, 2022, in a 1-0 victory against Ghana, he made his team debut.
