Sushmita Sen made her acting debut with Dastak in 1996. After that, she has appeared in numerous films such as Sirf Tum (1999), Bibi No. 1 (1999), Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999), Aankhen (2002), Filhaal (2002), Samay: When Time Strikes, and (2003).
Sen’s greatest hit has been 2004’s Main Hoon Na, the directorial debut of Farah Khan, in which Sen performed the character of a chemistry teacher named Chandni Chopra. She achieved further recognition by featuring as the lead female in the romantic comedy ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?’ in 2005.
