Sarah Palin is an American politician who attended as the ninth Governor of Alaska, from 2006 to 2009. Sarah Palin was born as Sarah Louise Heath on February 11, 1964, in Sandpoint, Idaho, the U.S. to Sarah, a school secretary, and Charles R. Heath, a science teacher and field coach. In 2011, Sarah and Todd spent $1.75 million on a six-bedroom home in Scottsdale, Arizona. They sold this house in 2016 for $2.275 million. In 2015 they paid a little under $1 million for the second property in Scottsdale, Arizona. They began construction on what would be a large dream home but never completed the project.

Entry into Alaska Politics
In 1992, Palin decided to enter the political arena. Running on the Republican ticket, she won a seat on the Wasilla City Council by opposing tax hikes, and, four years later, she was elected mayor of Wasilla, knocking off three-term incumbent John Stein, 651 to 440. Candidacy For The House Of Representatives In 2022
Palin ran for the vacated congressional seat in the 2022 special election following the death of Alaska’s at-large congressman Don Young. Palin had hinted at a possible Senate campaign in August 2021, challenging incumbent Republican Lisa Murkowski. Former president Donald Trump endorsed her candidacy for the House of Representatives on April 3, 2022.
In the special election for Alaska’s at-large congressional district in 2022, Palin was one of three candidates left out of 50 initial candidates. Independent Al Gross withdrew from the “top four” runoff, leaving Palin, Begich III and ex-state house member Mary Peltola as the remaining candidates.
