Preet began her career in the Army Reserves in 2012. She joined the Regular Army in 2016 after serving for four years. During her Army service, she also traveled to Kenya, Nepal, South Sudan, and other nations. She also served in the British Army as an OC PCRF (Officer Commanding Policy and Charging Rules Function).
