Pratyusha Banerjee was an Indian television actress who lived from 10 August 1991 until 1 April 2016. She had appeared in a number of reality and television series. Banerjee rose to prominence in the television serial Balika Vadhu in 2010. This was her first main part in the television series when she gained her household name “Anandi”. She took part in the reality show Bigg Boss 7. (2013).

Pratyusha Banerjee was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India on August 10, 1991. She had finished her primary and secondary schooling at the local school before enrolling at St. Xavier’s College in Kolkata. Pratyusha then relocated to Mumbai. She follows the Hindu religion.

Career

She began her career with a supporting part in Rakt Sambandh, which was followed by a role as Vaani (Akshara’s best friend, portrayed by Hina Khan) in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus.

She was cast as an adult version of Anandi in the 2010 Indian television series Balika Vadhu, replacing Avika Gor. According to the actress, she was picked through a talent search, beating out competitors Nivedita Tiwari of Lucknow and Ketaki Chitale of Mumbai. Banerjee took part in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa after the show’s popularity (season 5). She did, however, leave the dance exhibition because she was uneasy throughout the preparations.

Pratyusha was one of the most competitive candidates in the seventh season of Bigg Boss in 2013. Pratyusha Banerjee was brought to the hospital on April 1, 2016, due to her condition following a suicide attempt. She was a well-known actress who has been working on several projects and recently committed herself. Pratyusha Banerjee was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan at her home. Her close pals stated that she was depressed about her relationship and was concerned about her future in it. Her friend, director Vikas Gupta, spoke to the media about her relationship with her boyfriend, Rahul Raj Singh, and stated, “She was doing very well professionally. She had enough of employment; she had made a lot of money, and Rahul had taken care of her finances. She was not depressed in the least”.

Pratyusha’s Best Friend Leena appeared in public and spoke to the media about her phone call with Pratyusha the day before her suicide. She stated. “Prior to her suicide, she contacted me at 3 a.m. and was sobbing uncontrollably. ‘I can’t live my life like this, and I want to get out of it,’ she added. She stated that she wants to fight back and get out of it. She only wanted to marry Rahul and have a child; that was her plan”.
