Mohamed Elneny, an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League side Arsenal and the Egypt national team, was born on July 11, 1992. Prior to joining Swiss club Basel in January 2013, Elneny began his professional career at the senior level in the Egyptian Premier League.
In each of his four seasons with Basel, he won eight awards, including the Swiss Super League. He was traded to Arsenal in January 2016. A devoted Muslim, Elneny. On Elneny’s land in El-Mahalla El-Kubra, Egypt, in July 2019, a man’s body who was thought to be a burglar trying to steal electrical lines was found. His father found the body and reported the event to the police right afterward. The man may have been electrocuted while attempting to take the cables.

Club Career
Al Mokawloon
Al Ahly was Elneny’s youth football team. He moved to Al Mokawloon in 2008 and played there from 2010 to 2011. Elneny developed and established himself as a dependable starter.
The Egyptian Premier League was suspended and all remaining games of the 2011–12 Egyptian Premier League were postponed following the Port Said Stadium catastrophe in early February 2012. The Egyptian Football Association made the decision to halt the rest of the season public on March 10, 2012.

The transfer of Elneny from FC Basel was officially announced by the club the following day for an undisclosed fee reported to be between £5 million and £7.4 million. He was given the number 35 shirt for Arsenal. On January 30, 2016, he made his debut for the club in a 2-1 win against Burnley in the fourth round of the FA Cup, becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer.
