Kieran Trippier is an English professional footballer who plays as a right-back for La Liga club Atlético Madrid and the England national team. Trippier began his career in the youth system at Manchester City, but he failed to break into the first team despite two loans to Championship club Barnsley. Burnley signed him on a season-long loan in 2011, which was made permanent in January 2012 for an undisclosed fee. Manchester City
Trippier joined Manchester City’s academy at the age of nine, where he advanced through the ranks at the club, signing his first professional contract in 2007.
