Life of Jordan Henderson

Jordan Brian Henderson is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Liverpool and the England national team. He was born on June 17, 1990.

Henderson joined the Sunderland Academy at the age of eight and made his first-team debut in November 2008, a decade later. Football Career

Club Career

Jordan Henderson was born in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, and joined his local club Sunderland’s development system when he was eight years old. On July 1, 2008, he signed a professional deal with the club. He made his league debut as a half-time replacement in a 5–0 away loss to Chelsea on November 1, 2008. The following month, he got his first Sunderland start and home debut against Blackburn Rovers in the League Cup.

Jordan Henderson signed a one-month loan with Championship team Coventry City in January 2009. He made his debut for Coventry City in a 2–1 loss to Derby County. Henderson’s loan at Coventry was extended until the end of the season, and he scored his first professional goal against Norwich City on February 28, 2009. In April 2009, he returned to Sunderland after suffering a fracture to the fifth metatarsal bone in his foot.
