Lawrence Mignogna was born in Abington, Pennsylvania, and reared in Philadelphia. His parents were Donna Mignogna, a personnel manager and former elementary school teacher, and Joseph Lawrence Mignogna, an insurance broker. His ancestors are Italian, Scottish, and English.
