The Mexican professional footballer Hector Miguel Herrera Lopez (born 19 April 1990) plays for Houston Dynamo and the Mexican national team. Pachuca initially signed Herrera in 2010 and he spent three years with the club before moving to FC Porto. During his first season in Portugal, he struggled to find playing time before gradually cementing his starting position. Herrera has served as club captain since the 2015–16 season.
