Oluwafikayomi Oluwadamilola “Fikayo” Tomori (born December 19, 1997) is a professional footballer for Serie A club AC Milan and the England national team. He was born in Canada and currently represents England at the international level.

Tomori qualified to represent Nigeria at the international level because of his parents, Canada because of his birth in Calgary, and England since he has resided in the country since he was a toddler. On his third appearance for Canada U20, Tomori captained the team to a 2-1 victory over England U20 on March 27, 2016.

2005–2016: Youth career

  • Tomori joined the Chelsea Academy at the age of eight and advanced through the club’s academy system.
  • He was a member of the Chelsea youth team that won the UEFA Youth League and the FA Youth Cup back-to-back in 2015 and 2016.
  • In Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool on May 11, 2016, Tomori was called to the first-team substitution bench alongside fellow youth players Tammy Abraham and Kasey Palmer.
  • He did not, however, make an appearance at Anfield.
  • On 15 May, in Chelsea’s final game of the 2015-16 season, Tomori made his debut in a 1-1 draw with Premier League winners Leicester City, coming on in the 60th minute to replace Branislav Ivanovic.

2017: Loan to Brighton & Hove Albion
