Arjun's manager met the ward officer and asked for more time to regularize the irregularities, but when no further time was given, the BMC issued a notice asking Arjun to demolish the structure. Later, the civic body officials dismantled his gym equipment and demolished the illegal addition at Arjun's residence.

Arjun Kapoor did his higher secondary education at Arya Vidya Mandir school in Mumbai Since he failed in his class twelve’s board exams, he left his studies in between. Being from a filmy background automatically developed an interest in the same as a career. He started his career as an assistant director for Kal Ho Naa Ho in 2003.

After this, he assisted his father in a few films along with No Entry. On shooting No Entry, Arjun met the actor Salman Khan who noticed some potential in Arjun Kapoor and encouraged him to attempt acting. At the same time, his weight was over 100 kgs and he exerted it as a joke.

But when Salman Khan commanded on this, he began working hard to lose his weight under the direction of Salman Khan. After four years of struggling with his body and acting abilities, he began auditioning to grab a good role and start his career.

In 2013, Kapoor appeared in Yash Raj Films’ next project action thriller, Aurangzeb. In the year 2014, He again teamed with Yash Raj Films for the third continuous time in the film Gunday, a crime action movie also starring Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Arjun Kapoor next collaborated with the producers Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala to star opposite Alia Bhatt in a film fitting of Chetan Bhagat’s popular novel 2 States released with the same title.
