Her Best Songs are:- Gali Me Aaj Chaand Nikla- Zakhm, Ghoongat Ki Aad Se Dilbar Ka – Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Dekha Hai Pehli Baar – Saajan, Aaye Ho Meri Zindagi Me – Raja Hindustani, Ek Do Teen – Tezaab.
Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan both are at par if you check their overall singing career and both of them sang songs within their own limitations, but when you talk about duet song they essentially express the love and both were good. The common factor Alka Yagnik with no doubt is the far better singer than the other two so.
It all began in the song “Mujhe Neend Na Aaye” which was recorded in Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik’s voice. After the song was recorded, Mr. Late Gulshan Kumar occurred and asked the director/producer and the musician to re-record it in Anuradha Paudval’s voice. No surprises at all, Gulshan Kumar always was a manipulator and opportunistic with no morals or ethics. After Gulshan Kumar’s death, his brothers and kids kicked her out of the syndicate, and look she’s nowhere. Shes lost all her respect and dignity now. None of the music directors or singers talk good of her anytime.
Obviously, Lata Mangeskar is a great Indian singer, but Alka Yagnik is also too good.
