Guadalajara
- Since Oswaldo Sánchez was out with a shoulder injury during the Clausura 2005, Talavera started for Guadalajara against teams from the Primera División de México, and also played against South American teams in the Copa Libertadores.
- Talavera was left in goal after Sanchez left for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany on 2 April 2006.
